The following are the rules for utilizing the InlandNet web site during your career transition or after you have located a new career:
- To be a member of the InlandNet Website you must have attended at least one InlandNet meeting, were you will have provided us with your name, e-mail address and phone number and signed a document agreeing to the InlandNet privacy policy.
- You agree to the current InlandNet Privacy Statement/Policy as stated below under “InlandNet Privacy Statement”. This may or may not be the same exact statement you agreed to when becoming a member as we update as needed. You will be provided with a current copy of the privacy policy on a quarterly basis.
- You agree to provide accurate personal information and complete all entries in particular your LinkedIn address.
- You agree not to put any derogatory information on the InlandNet website.
- You agree to allow Human Resource Managers or Professional Recruiters’ access to your website information.
- If a Human Resources Manager or Professional Recruiter posts a position that states “CONFIDENTIAL SEARCH” you will not disseminate the opportunity to anyone. This does not prohibit you from letting an InlandNet member know that the posting is on the website so that they can access it through their account.
- You can share any other career opportunity that is NOT labeled as a “CONFIDENTIAL SEARCH”.
- We will continue to maintain the InlandNet master membership list and Yahoo Group. Our privacy policy applies equally to both this website and the Yahoo group.
- In addition to the career opportunities posted on the InlandNet Website, other career opportunities will still be posted to our InlandNet Yahoo Group. Human Resource Managers, Professional Recruiters and/or Career Coaches will not be given access to the Yahoo Group or Membership list.
Human Resource Managers/Professional Recruiters:
The following are the rules for posting career opportunities on the InlandNet Website.
- You formally agree to our Privacy Statement/Policy as outlined below under our “InlandNet Privacy Statement”.
- The Executive Team or Board of Trustees will not be involved in any communication between yourself and/or an InlandNet member or other individuals.
- There is no charge for posting any opportunity. Once you have posted a career opportunity it will remain on the web site for thirty days and will automatically be removed at the end of that period.
- Once the opportunity is posted InlandNet cannot control what our members will forward in violation of our privacy policy.
- If you post a “CONFIDENTIAL CAREER SEARCH” on the web site, and it is so marked, there is still a possibility that it will get released to someone outside InlandNet.
- You have the right to search our membership database for candidates but InlandNet does not guarantee the accuracy of this information. It is the responsibility of each member to maintain the accuracy of their information.
- You will not have access to our InlandNet Yahoo Group which contains information exclusively for InlandNet members in transition or who choose to stay connected after they have found a new career.
InlandNet Privacy Statement
Your privacy is very important to InlandNet. This privacy statement provides information about the personal information that InlandNet collects and the ways in which InlandNet uses that personal information. Additionally it contains information on how to use the Yahoo group and set the options that are available to you.
At any time you can unsubscribe from the Yahoo Group and stop receiving e-mails from us, by using the instructions which will be sent to you when you join the Group and quarterly thereafter. At any time, you can ask us to remove your information from the Master List by sending an e-mail to RRubinson@RRubinsonCPA.com and we will remove the information in our next upload – usually within two weeks.
Personal information collection
InlandNet collects and uses the following kinds of personal information:
- information that you provide using for the purpose of registering with us;
- information that you provide for the purpose of subscribing to the Yahoo Group;
- information that helps others to assist you with your career search; and
- any other information that you send to InlandNet.
Using personal information
InlandNet may use your personal information to:
- administer and personalize the Yahoo Group and Website;
- enable your access to and use of the Yahoo Group and Website;
- work with affiliated organizations who assist people in transition;
- publish Group List with your information on the Yahoo Group and Website; and
- send you e-mail communications.
InlandNet may disclose your personal information to its volunteers and affiliated organizations for these purposes and they will be obligated to use that personal information in accordance with the terms of this privacy statement. We will never sell or provide this information to career coaches, recruiters, services providers, etc.
In addition to the disclosures reasonably necessary for the purposes identified above, InlandNet may disclose your personal information to the extent that it is required to do so by law, in connection with any legal proceedings or prospective legal proceedings and/or in order to establish, exercise or defend its legal rights.
InlandNet cannot guarantee that your personal information may not be used for other purposes by members of the Group.
By registering with us, you agree to allow us to include your information on our Master List and upload it to the Yahoo Group where it can be accessed by the other members. You also agree to allow us to send you e-mails thru the Yahoo Group.
By providing your personal information to InlandNet, you agree to release InlandNet and St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church, as well as their employees, volunteers, agents, assigns and affiliates, and to hold them harmless from any and all liabilities which may arise from any unauthorized use of your personal information.
