I truly feel that InlandNet helped me by "being there" - supporting me by having informative meetings, keeping me positive as well as stressing to be persistent during the transition. I stayed in touch with my former supervisor which may have paid off; I was the first one he contacted when they called back some of the employees.

So, maybe the lesson to learn here is to stay in touch with former employers; you never know when they may need your skills again! Good luck to all.

"I will miss our meeting it was very elating and informative and just the best networking and helpful people I have ever met.  I did follow the favorite line of not restricting yourself to just San Diego County when looking for a job but to keep your options open to So Cal."

I want thank the InlandNet founders for having such a group where we could all meet share our experiences and network.

InlandNet helped me:

  • Focus on identifying Target Companies to research and find contacts with or discover job ops.
  • See the value in networking and using the relationships I have with individuals experienced in the field I was seeking employment.
  • Get out of the house, think outside the box and explore new opportunities through informational and advice meetings, chamber of commerce mixers, attending other networks in many communities.

I learned a number of new skills which will carry over to my professional career and have met many new friends which I plan long term networking activities. The programs at InLandNet have offered personal development and moral support during this period. Thank you for offering a service that has significant value to those in transition and to the community.

Inland Net is one of the best things that happened to me while I was un

Because of InlandNet I learned the extent of the unemployment situation in San Diego.  Most of the people in the group had more experience and credentials than I have which was very important

InlandNet gave me the opportunity to practice my "positioning statement" and hear about what resources others were using for their job search.
