Peggy Wallace, the founder of Making Conversation, is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania/Wharton School and Boston University School of Law. With over 25 years business experience as a corporate attorney, fundraiser and financial services sales consultant, Peggy has a first-hand appreciation of the value of making conversation and marketing your best self, while being authentic and enthusiastically showing your own unique personality.

 

Peggy has made presentations to scientists, post-docs and graduate students at The Burnham Institute, The La Jolla Institute for Allergy & Immunology, Salk Institute for Biological Studies and The Scripps Research Institute, SDSU as well as numerous presentations to AWIS members as well as members of the Am Statistical Assn, Society of Women Engineers, SDCA and SABPA. Peggy is honored to be part of a California Endowment Grant to UCSD's School of Medicine.

 

Making Conversation  offers group and private conversational skills sessions as well as private interview preparation, with videotaped interview practice.

To prepare for our meeting read: why do we remember stories? How can you make your strengths into persuasive examples which become memorable and get you hired?  

Volunteer for a videotaped practice of a strength story will be arranged at the June 16, 2010 meeting.  Newer entrants to the job marketplace will be given preference.
